Jim Hartsock - Wildlife Artist, CT, AE
Jim has been doing taxidermy for over 25 years. Jim's artistic ability was noticed with his sketching and drawing of wildlife at an early age. Even as a young child, he was out in the woods observing wildlife. The outdoors and animals have always been a strong influence in Jim's life. The grace in composition can be seen in each piece.
Jim's background includes a Bachelors Degree in Animal Science; studies into the anatomy of various species of animals that collectively inspire him to create artistic and anatomically correct trophies from the smallest of Teal to the largest of Bears.
